Border Bash Bohemia is a multi-day Gravel Bike Riding Event organized in the heart of one of Central Europe’s most beautiful National Parks, on the border of Germany and the Czech Republic. The Border Bash is not a race but a collection of inspiring rides among sandstone pinnacles & rock gorges, wild streams, and winding roads.

We ignore all kinds of borders, territorial, political, or cultural boundaries to bring people together to ride bikes, explore lovely new places, and make friends.

FREE - DIY EDDITION

The 2025 FREE - DIY Edition

Set amidst the surreal sandstone towers and lush forests of the Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland National Park—right on the Czech-German border—the Border Bash Bohemia Gravel Camp returns in 2025 with an exciting new twist: a fully DIY-style gathering. Still rooted in our passion for gravel cycling, adventure, and community, this year's edition invites riders to shape their own experience.

The Bohemian Border Bash Race 2025 kicks off the weekend before, allowing you to cheer on the finishers as they return to camp after their epic 1400 km adventure.

Launched in 2019, the Border Bash has transformed into a beloved long weekend for cyclists across Europe and beyond, known for its stunning routes and welcoming atmosphere. This year's Do-It-Yourself format provides riders with access to curated GPX routes—from the scenic "Little Bash" to the epic full-day rides—but the choice of when and how to ride these routes is entirely up to you.

Basecamp remains the heart of the event: Kemp u Ferdinanda near Srbská Kamenice will once again serve as our communal hub. Bring your tent, book a cabin, or arrive in whichever way suits your style.

This isn't a spectator event—it's a participatory experience where everyone contributes to the atmosphere and energy. Think of it as a bikepacking festival where the itinerary is as flexible as your mindset.

Join us from September 11–14, 2025, for a weekend of riding, exploring, and connecting—on your own terms, but never alone.

"There has never really been a lull in the lifeblood of the heavily forested and mountainous borderlands of Bohemia. From early Celtic origins to Germanic settlers by the start of the Middle Ages to later Slavic migrations... these wild lands hold deep emotional and pagan history long before the PÅ™emysl dynasty and Christianity formalized the structure of Czech Bohemia across the 9th-13th centuries. Throw in some Holy Romans, Hussites & Hapsburgs, and the international history of Bohemia marches on, building up and breaking down borders all the way to our modern-day, integrated right at the heart of Europe..."
