Ignoring Borders Since 2019

3-Day Camp, Two Days of Riding; 7. - 10. September 2023

The Bohemian Border Bash Gravel Cycling Adventure will welcome you into Bohemian-Sachsen Switzerland National Park for the fifth time in 2023. The Camp is a multi-day Gravel Bike Riding Event organized in the heart of one of Central Europe's most beautiful National Parks, on the border between Germany and the Czech Republic. You will be amazed by sandstone pinnacles, rocky gorges, wild streams, and winding roads. You will find real paradise, a cycling destination you will fall in love with. The Border Bash Camp is not a race but a collection of inspiring rides. Yes, this event is not about speed. It is rather about sharing the love of cycling with likeminded people, having fun, making friends, riding bikes of course, and drinking beer of course :-) The #BBBC was created to share the picturesque riding this lesser-known region offers and to bring together like-minded gravel bikers for a long weekend packed with camaraderie on & off the bike.

Border Bash Bohemia Gravel Camp is not a race. Instead, it is a collection of rides routed to one's ability, strength, and willingness to ride. You can push yourself to get the most kilometers out of the weekend, hang along with old friends, or make new ones on a ride.
You'll enjoy nice food back in the camp after the ride and spend evenings with like-minded people talking about all things bikes.

"There has never really been a lull in the lifeblood of the heavily forested and mountainous borderlands of Bohemia. From early Celtic origins to Germanic settlers by the start of the Middle Ages, to later Slavic migrations... these wild lands hold deep emotional and pagan history, long before the Přemysl dynasty and Christianity formalized the structure of a Czech Bohemia across the 9th-13th centuries. Throw in some Holy Romans, Hussites & Hapsburgs, and the international history of Bohemia marches on, building up and breaking down borders all the way to our modern-day, integrated right at the heart of Europe..."
